Happy Sunday, amazing souls!
The other day, a friend of mine, Kevin Kidd facilitated a Conscious Connected Breath Work (rebirthing), which is a form of conscious breathwork. We practiced this breathing technique for about 50 minutes, and the experience was truly remarkable.
Soon after we started, my entire body began to tingle with energy. Then I felt something unexpected — an extremely heavy weight across my body. It felt as if large boulders were placed on me, pressing me down into the floor. My body felt completely pinned. I couldn’t move anything except my hands.
In that moment, a realization came to me: it felt like I had been killed this way in a past life.
At one point I even tasted metal in my mouth and realized it felt like the taste of blood.
I had no idea what situation had led to that moment, and I still don’t know the full context of that experience. But the feeling was very clear — it was as if I was remembering a moment of trauma from another lifetime.
Interestingly, I wasn’t afraid. My friend had reassured us that this was simply the breath guiding us through whatever needed to be released, so I stayed calm and allowed the experience to unfold.
What surprised me the most was how much lighter I felt afterward. It was as if something deep inside had been recognized and released. I felt a sense of relief, almost like clearing an old emotional imprint.
That experience made me realize something powerful:
Breathwork can help release stored emotional energy and unresolved trauma from the body.
So today, I want to share a little more about this fascinating practice and how breath can become a tool for healing, clarity, and renewal.
And again, thank you for spending this Sunday morning with me. It truly means a lot that we can explore these spiritual topics together.
🌬️ Rebirth Through Breath

🏵️ How conscious breathing can help us release the past and begin again
Happy Sunday, beautiful souls.
Have you ever wished you could start fresh?
Not by changing everything around you…
but by releasing what you have been carrying inside.
Old heartbreak.
Old emotional patterns.
Old stress sitting quietly in the body.
Sometimes we don’t need a new life.
Sometimes we simply need a rebirth of ourselves.
And one of the oldest ways humans have discovered this renewal is through something incredibly simple:
Breath.
🍀Breath: More Powerful Than We Realize
We breathe around 20,000 times every single day, yet most of the time we barely notice it.
But breath is not just air moving in and out of the lungs.
Breath is the delivery system for life itself.
Oxygen enters the lungs, moves into the bloodstream, and from there travels throughout the body—especially to the brain, which is the organ that uses the most oxygen.
In other words, breath is not only happening in the lungs.
Breath becomes life when oxygen reaches the blood and nourishes the brain.
This perspective was beautifully expressed in a quote that deeply resonated with me:
“Don't breathe through your lungs. You only breathe when the oxygen is in the blood. You breathe through your blood, not through your lungs. That's our part of miseducation. We think we hear with our ears, but you hear with your brain. Sound is picked up and carried through the blood to the brain, and the brain hears. You see with your brain, you taste with your brain, you touch with your brain. The organ that takes the most oxygen is your brain. When it is starved of oxygen, it signals the body that it needs more nutrients.”
What this reminds us is something profound:
Breath is nourishment for the brain and the entire nervous system.
When we breathe shallowly because of stress or emotional tension, the body can remain stuck in a state of survival.
But when breathing becomes slow, full, and conscious, the body receives the signal that it is safe again.
And from that place of safety, healing can begin.
✨Breath as Life Force
Across ancient traditions, breath has always been connected to life energy.
In yoga it is called prana, the vital force flowing through the body.
In Chinese medicine it is known as qi, the energy that sustains life and balance.
Even the word spirit comes from the Latin word spiritus, meaning breath.
Breath is the bridge connecting body, mind, and consciousness.
When we become aware of our breathing, we reconnect with the living rhythm inside us.
🌿 The Idea of Rebirth Through Breath
In modern breathwork practices, conscious breathing is sometimes used as a way to release emotional tension and reconnect with deeper awareness.
One early pioneer of this work was Leonard Orr, who explored how continuous, conscious breathing could help people access emotional release and inner clarity.
He described the experience as a form of rebirth.
Not a literal rebirth.
But the feeling of letting go of old emotional patterns and beginning again with greater freedom and openness.
Many people who practice conscious breathing report feeling:
• lighter emotionally
• calmer mentally
• clearer in their thoughts
• more connected to themselves
Almost like the body and mind have pressed a reset button.
💖 Why Emotional Energy Gets Stuck
Life leaves impressions on us.
Difficult relationships.
Stressful experiences.
Moments of grief or disappointment.
Over time these experiences can settle into the body as tension or emotional heaviness.
You might feel this as:
• tightness in the chest
• tension in the shoulders
• a heavy feeling in the heart
• racing thoughts that won't quiet down
The mind wants to move forward, but the body often holds the memory.
Breathwork helps the body gently release this stored tension.
And when the body releases, the mind can finally relax.
🦋 A Simple Breath Practice for Renewal
Find a quiet place where you can lie down comfortably. If possible, try not to use a pillow so your airway can stay open. (But if you feel more comfortable using one, that’s perfectly fine.)
Close your eyes and begin breathing gently.
Start with a natural rhythm of inhale and exhale.
You can inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, or breathe through your mouth for both. Choose whichever feels most comfortable for your body.
Allow your breathing to become smooth and continuous.
As you relax, let your whole body soften.
With each exhale, imagine releasing something you no longer need—stress, worry, emotional tension, or old memories.
Continue breathing this way for about 45–50 minutes.
During the session, you may notice sensations in your body such as warmth, tingling, emotional release, or deep relaxation. Your mind may also bring up thoughts, images, or memories. Simply observe them and continue breathing gently.
Sometimes this kind of inner shift can open the door to powerful emotional clarity and renewal.
👉 Safety Notes
• Stop the practice if you feel dizzy, overwhelmed, or uncomfortable.
• Breathe gently and do not force your breath.
• If you have heart conditions, respiratory issues, epilepsy, or are pregnant, consult a healthcare professional before trying extended breathwork.
• This practice is meant for relaxation and self-reflection, not medical treatment.
Listen to your body and always move at your own pace.
🔮 Breath as a Path to Renewal
Breath reminds us that every moment contains the possibility of beginning again.
Every inhale brings new life into the body.
Every exhale allows us to release something we no longer need.
In that simple rhythm we discover something beautiful:
Rebirth is not something dramatic or distant.
It can happen quietly.
One breath at a time.
I realized how powerful and transformative breathwork can be, and that inspired me to create this course. My hope is that more people can experience the benefits of this practice without needing to spend a lot of money.

What if the key to releasing emotional weight you’ve carried for years…
was something you already have with you every moment?
Your breath.
Many of us carry stress, heartbreak, and old emotional patterns in our bodies. Even when we try to move forward, something inside can still feel heavy or stuck.
Breathe Your Way to Radical Change is a gentle introduction to conscious connected breathwork, a simple yet powerful practice that helps your body release stored emotional tension and return to a calmer, clearer state.
Inside this course, you’ll learn:
• the breathing method used in rebirthing-style breathwork
• how to prepare for a safe and supportive breathwork session
• a guided breath practice you can follow at home
• what emotional and physical experiences may arise
• how to integrate and ground yourself afterward
This practice isn’t about forcing change.
It’s about allowing your body to release what it has been holding… so you can feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself.
Sometimes healing doesn’t begin with a big life change.
Sometimes it begins with one conscious breath. 🌿

🏵️ Final Thoughts
That breathwork experience stayed with me long after the session ended. I’m still fascinated by it.
When my body felt pinned down, when that heavy weight appeared, I truly didn’t know what was happening. For a moment it felt intense and mysterious — like my body was remembering something I didn’t fully understand.
But what surprised me most was not the experience itself.
It was how light and peaceful I felt afterward.
It felt as if something deep inside me had finally been seen… and released.
That moment reminded me of something very simple but very powerful:
Sometimes we carry emotions, memories, and tension for years without realizing it.
They quietly sit in the body.
And sometimes the body simply needs a safe way to let them go.
Breath is one of the most natural ways to do that.
You don’t have to force anything.
You don’t have to understand everything.
You simply breathe.
And little by little, the body begins to soften, release, and reset.
Maybe rebirth doesn’t have to be dramatic.
Maybe sometimes it begins with something as simple as one conscious breath.
Thank you for spending this Sunday morning with me and exploring these spiritual ideas together. I truly appreciate this beautiful community we’re building.
