Happy Sunday! I can’t believe it’s February already! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday morning. Thank you for spending your precious time to read my newsletter.
Have you ever felt more alone since you started your spiritual journey?
If so, you’re not imagining it. As your energy and frequency rise, your awareness expands. You begin to sense what feels aligned — and what doesn’t — more clearly.
At the same time, you’re still living your human life. You have family. You have friends. Humans are social beings. We are not meant to walk this world alone.
So this week, I want to talk about how to stay in your higher frequency without disconnecting — how to remain social, loving, and present while honoring your energy and inner truth.
Because spiritual growth isn’t about leaving life behind.
It’s about learning how to live it differently.
Humans are biologically wired for connection. From an evolutionary and psychological perspective, our survival has always depended on belonging to a group. Early humans who were accepted by the tribe were protected, fed, and supported. Those who were rejected often did not survive. This survival wiring still lives inside the modern nervous system.
Because of this, the human brain treats social approval as safety and social rejection as danger.
But here’s the paradox:
What once protected us now often constrains us.
Modern psychology confirms that humans are among the most social species on Earth. Research in neuroscience shows that the same areas of the brain that register physical pain also activate during social rejection. Criticism, judgment, and exclusion are not just emotional experiences — they are interpreted by the body as threats.
This leads to several unconscious behaviors:
Seeking approval even at the cost of authenticity
Suppressing emotions to maintain harmony
Conforming to group norms that conflict with inner truth
Avoiding growth to prevent criticism
In psychology, this is often described as external validation dependence — when self-worth becomes regulated by how others respond to us.
From a behavioral standpoint, this creates self-regulation through fear rather than choice.
✨ The Energetic Cost of Approval-Seeking
From a spiritual and energetic perspective, approval-seeking is not neutral — it carries a frequency.
When a person is constantly scanning their environment for acceptance, their energy field is in a contracted state. The nervous system remains alert. Breath becomes shallow. Intuition becomes quiet. Creativity narrows.
Energetically, this state resonates with:
Fear
Guilt
Shame
Obligation
Self-doubt
These frequencies are heavy, slow, and inwardly restrictive. They disconnect a person from their natural rhythm and higher awareness.
In contrast, authenticity — even when it risks disapproval — produces an expanded energetic state associated with clarity, vitality, and coherence.
🕊️ Frequency, Coherence, and the Nervous System
Both science and spirituality point to the same truth using different language.
Psychology calls it nervous system regulation.
Spirituality calls it energetic alignment.
When a person feels safe being themselves, the nervous system shifts into a parasympathetic state. Heart rate variability increases. Brain waves slow into more coherent patterns. This state allows access to intuition, empathy, creativity, and insight.
From an energetic lens, coherence raises frequency.
High-frequency states are not about positivity — they are about integration. The person is no longer splitting themselves into acceptable and unacceptable parts. Energy flows instead of being suppressed.
Spiritual traditions across cultures suggest that human relationships are not merely social — they are developmental.
Criticism, rejection, and restriction often act as catalysts for spiritual growth. They expose the places where identity is still externally anchored. They reveal where energy is leaking through people-pleasing, self-betrayal, or silence.
From this perspective, social discomfort is not punishment — it is feedback.
Growth occurs when a person learns to:
Remain connected without self-abandonment
Receive feedback without collapsing
Be seen without performing
Disagree without withdrawing love
This is where psychology and spirituality converge:
True individuation strengthens connection rather than destroying it.
🌒 Beyond Isolation and Conformity
It is important to clarify something crucial:
Spiritual growth does not mean withdrawing from people.
Nor does it mean tolerating restriction.
Isolation lowers frequency just as much as conformity.
Humans thrive when they experience interdependence without enmeshment — connection without control, belonging without self-erasure.
At higher levels of consciousness, relationships shift from approval-based to resonance-based. People connect through shared values, not shared fear.
🌟 Healing Modalities for Relational Freedom
1) Inner Child Healing
Why it matters: This work helps you reconnect with the younger parts of yourself that learned how to cope with early emotional wounds — the parts that still influence how you relate and seek approval.
📺 Watch: Inner Child Work: What It Is and How To Do It — a gentle explanation of inner child healing and how it impacts emotional patterns.

2) Attachment Healing
Why it matters: Attachment patterns formed in childhood affect how we give and receive love today. Healing attachment helps you feel safer in relationships and more grounded in yourself.
📺 Watch: Attachment Styles Explained: Why You Choose the Partners You Do — breaks down how different attachment styles shape connection and behavior.

3) Shadow Work
Why it matters: Shadow work brings into awareness the parts of yourself you’ve suppressed to be accepted — needs, emotions, power, and even rage. Integrating shadow parts frees up energy and raises your frequency.

4) Somatic / Body-Based Healing
Why it matters: Not all emotional patterns live in the mind — many are held in the body’s response patterns (tension, freeze, flight). Somatic work helps your nervous system learn safety in connection.

5) Conscious Communication
Why it matters: How we speak and listen in relationships can either drain or restore energy. Conscious communication helps you connect honestly without fear of conflict.
📺 Watch: The Power Of Words To Heal Or Wound — shows how communication affects connection and healing.

6) Forgiveness-Based Healing
Why it matters: Forgiveness isn’t forgetting — it’s releasing the energetic grip past pain holds on you. When resentment dissolves, frequency rises.
📺 Watch: Forgiveness Can Transform You — shares understanding and practice of forgiveness for inner peace.

7) Subconscious / Higher Self Work
Why it matters: Deep beliefs about love, worth, and belonging are stored below conscious awareness. Work at the subconscious level helps rewrite those patterns so relationships feel less reactive and more authentic.
📺 This video explores how moving past old programming helps you show up more whole in relationships.

💖 Final Thoughts
As your awareness grows, it’s natural for relationships to feel different. This doesn’t mean something is wrong — it means something within you is shifting. You’re learning how to stay connected without losing yourself, how to be present without lowering your energy.
Remember, spiritual growth isn’t about separating from people. It’s about relating from a more honest, grounded place. When you honor your energy and inner truth, connection becomes simpler, lighter, and more nourishing.
Trust the process. You don’t need to force belonging.
The right connections will meet you where you are.
Love and Blessings,
Tomoko
If you feel called to explore these themes more deeply, QHHT can be a beautiful way to understand how your subconscious holds patterns around connection, safety, and belonging. Through a relaxed theta-state, many people gain clarity about long-standing relationship dynamics and release energetic blocks that no longer serve them.
There’s no pressure — just an invitation to listen inwardly.
If this resonates, I’m here to guide you when the timing feels right.
